So the new Doctor Who is up to episode 5 now. Its really great. If you have any fond memories of watching Dr. Who at all, then you can do no wrong watching the new show. Its a real shame that the current Doctor is only going to be on for this one season.

The Hitchhiker's Guide movie comes out this coming weekend. Woot!
I saw Tori Amos in concert again the other night at the Paramount. Was a good show of course as always, other than the fact that the Paramount has possibly the worst ventilation of any venue I've ever been to. The opener was a guy with a guitar called Matt Nathanson. Was surprisingly good. I'll have to consider picking up his CD.
I'm listening to the newest Garbage CD right now and its pretty good.

So this weekend was Linda's final going away "do". She'll be winging her way back overseas on Monday. :( I'll miss her horribly of course. Similar, but unrelated, Jason has returned to the military and will be off galavanting around again starting Tuesday most likely.
To maintain the balance of power in the region, Rian and Beth will finally be moving out here in a few months. ;)
Damn Lost. Just realized that they have another hiatus.
They come back with a special in two weeks, and then the week after that the last 4 episodes start up.

House is pretty close to how it should be now, with only the spare bedroom in a state of wtf-ness. Linda came over last night to watch a couple movies, my first official non family house guest since things have been nice, hurray. Now that things are presentable I'll probably start inviting folks over. :)
Watched After the Sunset with Pierce Brosnan and Salma Hayek. It was thoroughly entertaining. Also watched Mean Girls again, which is always amusing.

I got a new cell phone, but I still have the same number. Its a Motorola V551. Its fully featured but still primarily a phone as opposed to a full on PDA like the Treo/Blackberry stuff. Pretty spiffy. I'm still in the "new toy" phase.

Every time I think its not possible for the general public to be more stupid, I suddenly find something to lower my opinion of humanity even more.
Hair - Mine is gone. I'll try and get a "before" shot posted in the near future, and possibly a shaved head shot too. ;)
Legs - Freddie can feel his again. He's been in a wheel chair for years and suddenly can feel his legs again. Just wow.
Sin City.
The style just oozes out of the screen and into the audience. The violence is more over the top then anything in recent memory, but in a good way. You can get away with an awful lot apparently when you are dealing in mostly monochrome.
It started off a bit slow, or at least it took me a few minutes to settle into the world and the way the stories were being told, but after 10 minutes or so I was completely enamored.
Go see it.

I've been waiting for this day for Months, ever since seeing the trailer. Sin City is out! I can't wait to go see it. Probably first thing tomorrow morning.
