No longer a zombie

Today I started my new day schedule. It feels really weird to be waking up in the morning and actually being in an office filled with people again. Today I got the bonus surprise of snow all over the roads making my drive to work a bit more fun filled. ;)

Such Great Heights

This is my new favorite song. I simply can't get enough of it. There is a remix of it on the "District Sleeps Tonight" single that I absolutely adore. Postal Service rocks! Also, I have discovered recently, although I always thought the Windows Media Player randomization affects were kind of dumb, they are really awesome when projected on your wall. What a lovely way to listen to music. :)

I've recently caught up on a comic book series called Y: The Last Man. This is such a great book. Basically the premise is that "something", but you don't know what, has wiped out all of the men on the planet, except one. Its such a good story, and it keeps getting better. I think my next batch of birthday and christmas presents will be the first collection of 5 issues so that I can force everyone else to read it and bask in its glory. :)

I am experimenting with facial hair configurations. I just did some trimming/shaping on my crazy wild Annabi beard and I gotta say...I'm *hot*. =) Hahaha, I actually hate having facial hair generally, but it does have a certain flair. Anyway, right now I am experimenting with whether or not I can still grow an afro. :) I think I'll know in another couple of months, if I can actually deal with having long hair for that long, we'll see. Anyway, whenever I get there, or give up, the next step will be (after taking a picture) to shave it all off and be bald with an (as my brother calls it) asshole. IE, facial hair around the mouth and on the chin. Then after taking another picture I'll probably shave all that off too, hehe. :)

Chances are I won't post again before my brother's birthday so... Happy Birthday Joe! ;) Your present is still being created. Soon!

Midget Shortage

Mirror story

haha, I'm sorry, but I just find that hilarious.

Yesterday night we got freakish creepy fog. I love that stuff.

All the TV shows I download/watch have started airing again. 24 started off with a bang. Alias really stretched my suspension of belief filter at the start of this season, but its still cool. And Battlestar Galactica is getting really amusing. Baltar is awesome. Everything else is par for the course.

Happy New Year

Or How to learn to stop worrying that Malek is lying in a gutter somewhere. Hi Mom. :)

So my Christmas break was great. I went down to ABQ for a week, did family stuff, watched movies, etc. Came back home, watched Brian and Laura get married, caught up on things in WoW and the TV world and now here we are.

Amusing anecdote(after the fact). On my way down to Albuquerque, I stopped in Trinidad for gas at around 9pm or so. When I started my car back up, my headlights did not work. The only thing that would cause lights to work at all, is to hold them manually back in the temporary brights position. Yes, how fun is that? I got to hold back the stick for another 3 hours of driving while simultaneously blinding everyone on the road. Good fun! :) Freddie got my car all fixed up at work though, hurray, and now even my cig lighter and door locks work again. Of course, now that some time has passed, my left turn signal will not flash. My right turn signal and everything else works fine, its just my left one. Not really sure what could cause that. The new switch is also bad? *Shrugs*

While I was down there I continued my tradition of spreading the love with good television/movies and bought my brother Alias season 1 for Christmas. As he comments below, its fantasic, and now he somehow needs to get ahold of 2 and 3 since the show starts up again shortly. :) Once he's caught up he'll be able to watch Alias and Lost back to back! Woot. :)

I'll try to stop being lazy and resume normal updates now. ;)
