Number of the Beast

At long last, after putting it off forever, I finally renewed the registration on my car. I've been driving around with expired tags for a few months now. Bad Malek. Now that I have new tags I notice that I was driving with a heightened level of paranoia in regards to cops and the like and I can't seem to stop. Anyway, when I went down to the DMV today the number I pulled out of the little thing was 666. That certainly boded well for my day. :) I also finally got a haircut today after like 2 months. They had to use sheep shearing tools.

I set a new commuting record today too. My 20 minute drive to work took 2 hours. Yes, I wanted to kill people. It would have fit in well with my lucky DMV number.

Work keeps waffling about what is really going to happen in regards to this, but I believe I have failed to mention that I am finally returning to the life of a non zombie. In theory, I will be returning to day shift before February 1st. As part of this move I will be shifting into just ONE department, as opposed to the four I currently occupy. I will be divesting myself of customer support as part of that move, so for the first time in...ever, I will not be talking to customers.

One week left until I take my Christmas vacation. Hurrah!
